The Regional Committee meets at the Regional Meeting to overview what has been done and to plan for the future activities of the Region, in this case IEEE Region 9 LatinAmerica.

The meeting place changes between meetings. This year the Region 9 Meeting -RR, for Reunión Regional in Spanish- will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from Wednesday 10 to Friday 12, March 2004, hosted by the Argentina Section.

The Regional Committee governs the Region. Its members are the Regional Director and the Executive Committee, Section and Council Chairs and the Regional Coordinators. The 2004 roster for R9 Regional Committee is available here.

Each RR, in addition to its charter activities, is an excellent environment for face-to-face IEEE networking among officers, volunteers, staff and members.

The Regional Secretary, Dr. Manuel (Paco) Rodríguez Perazza informs the Official Delegates about RR (regional meeting) matters like Agenda and Registration.
